Greetings from ShadowSelf… I would like to welcome you to my work, art, writings, my arbitraries. Those of you who know me personally know how passionate I am with my copious creations. Those of you that are unfamiliar, I strive to leave a strong, immediate impression and an indentation in your sub conscience.

My writings, music, and stories have always been influenced by the darker, mysterious and forbidden aspects of life. As this page dedicates to journalism, I also compose music for horror and suspense; hence, the music is currently playing and can be found at anintimatecurse.com.

I survived the rollercoaster ride obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Music Production. I have done extensive studying and research on religion, spirituality, herbalism, Witchcraft and conspiracy theories. Currently, I am on the path of higher education and working on my Masters in New Media Journalism. The stories that I will be covering are diverse, covering an array of subject matter. I feel that many meaningful topics influenced by my interests are essential for media regardless if they are relevant to each other or not. I am an advocate for animal rights and intend to dig deeper into the psyche of those who are decisive carnivores, as well as vegans like myself. This is a story I will be covering in the near future as well as many others.

PREVIEW

The first story I will be covering takes place in North-East Ohio; in regards to the Heroin/Fentanyl/Pharmaceutical epidemic. I feel that this is a vital story to be told and imperative to accumulate as many angles as possible. From the outside, many people have eliminated the many shades of gray which leads to a black and white discussion; A black and white discussion evolves into two sides. I have learned that there is no such circumstance or situation that simply has two sides to a story; there are multiple angles to a story that gives everyone a different view or scenery to the situation. This doesn’t just stand for newsworthy clips but politics, religion, and for the everyday relationships, we all have with other people as well. The question is, how do you show the multiple angles to a story that our news stations fail to expose? My answer is to interview as many people as possible that have been exposed to the story being covered. I have personally been contaminated by this epidemic and know many people that are currently deep in the struggle and others that have found a way out. Stay tuned for the progression of an intoxicating story that everyone should hear.
